My first blog post

This is my first ever blog posting, so please bear with me as I try to assemble something decent lovely for others to read.  This blog is meant to be my Maternity Leave project, something to elicit creativity, keep me sane and be an online diary of random things.  I am horrible at spelling, let's just get that out on the table right from the start.  And I also have horrible grammer as my red-headed sister loves to tell me often (hey, respect your elders!).  So now that you have been warned and I have broken the ice with this post, I can start posting all kinds of silliness - technically my brain is already on Mat leave most of the time anyway.  (T-minus 20 days & counting till the due date!  WooHoo!)
